●This cable is used to connect a Macintosh unit (mini-DIN 8-pin) to an XY plotter or serial printer, or to connect a Macintosh unit to other computers (PC-9821/9800, IBM 5550, etc.) for data transfer (compliant with Canon cross cable JCRC01). ●This double-shielded cable features a sealed aluminum shield inside a high-density braided copper shield, protecting important data from most noise from low to high frequencies.
●The molded connector has a resin molded interior and is fully shielded, preventing external interference and providing excellent noise protection. It also boasts excellent vibration and shock resistance.
●The pins (contacts) are gold-plated, making them highly resistant to rust and minimizing signal degradation over time.
●A ferrite core is attached, which functions as a noise filter to effectively absorb noise transmitted through the cable.
