●This is a conversion cable that connects Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort.
●It can be used to connect Macs and various PCs equipped with Mini DisplayPort (or Thunderbolt compatible with Mini DisplayPort) to displays with DisplayPort. *It can also be used to connect PCs equipped with DisplayPort to displays with Mini DisplayPort (or Thunderbolt compatible with Mini DisplayPort).
●It is compatible with DisplayPort standard ver.1.2. It supports a maximum transmission speed of 21.6Gbps (5.4Gbps x 4 lanes) and can display high resolutions up to 3840x2160.
●It can transmit both image and audio with a single cable. (Audio signal input and output are optional functions of the equipment, so compatible equipment is required.)
●It supports DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection) and HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), copyright protection technologies that prevent unauthorized copying of content.
●The cable features triple shielding from the center outwards: "aluminum shield (twisted pair cable) → aluminum shield → high-density braided shield" to protect your valuable data from noise.
●Uses noise-resistant twisted pair wires with two core wires twisted together.
●Uses gold-plated pins (contacts) that are resistant to rust and less prone to signal degradation due to aging.
